Omega salt spreader motor controls offer state of the art features to give your salt spreader the "Power to Perform." Every controller is packed with features like "Guardian" circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, blast and an unmatched 10,000Hz PWM that delivers super efficiency. Because salt spreaders are only as good as the controller that drives them, both models are specially designed with "Hard Start" algorithms, like "Jack-Hammer," to provide more consistant salt spreader start-ups all for a price that can save you hundreds.
Electric salt spreads are basically built in two different designs; single stage with only one motor and two stage with independent spinner and material feed motors. That's why, Omega salt spreader controllers are available in two specially designed models. There is an Omega to power every type of electric salt spreader driven by a permanent magnet motor on the market. They come with a 2 year warranty.

OMEGA 1030
The Omega 1030 is designed to operate every single stage plastic tailgate spreader on the market and delivers up to 60 amps of start-up current in a pulsing "Jack-Hammer" algorithm to get your spinner started even if you're running bulk salt or a salt/sand mix. Nominal operating current is 30 amps and is fully protected by "Guardian" circuit protection to give your salt spreader the "Power to Perform" without ever overloading your system or burning out the controller.
The Omega 1030 comes with input and output connectors to mate with the "Rhino" 1030-04 harness. Model specific pigtails are available to make it a drop in replacement controller for the Curtis Fast-Cast 2000 and Snowex 575 & 1075 tailgate spreaders. For all other salt spreader models we offer a generic pigtail, so you can easily convert your existing wiring harness to plug into the Omega 1030. A new OEM controller can easily cost you $200.00 more than an Omega 1030.

OMEGA 2070
The Omega 2070 is a real work horse and is designed to deliver "Hard Start" current to get your two stage salt spreader started even if you're running bulk salt, salt/sand mix or straight dry sand. Nominal operating current to the spinner is 30 amps and 60 amps to the material feed motor and is fully protected by "Guardian" circuit protection to give your salt spreader the "Power to Perform" without ever overloading your system or burning out the controller. If the materieal feed auger jams the Omega 2070's "Auto-Clear" feature goes into action to help clear the jam.
The Omega 2070 comes with input and output connectors to mate with the "Rhino" 2070-06 harness. Model specific pigtails are available to make it a drop in replacement controller for the 1875, VeePro, V-Maxx and Salt Dogg two stage, poly hopper salt spreaders. For all other salt spreader models we offer a generic pigtail, so you can easily convert your existing wiring harness to plug into the Omega 2070.
