2000 Series (2.5" Diameter)

The 2000 series offer a lot of power packed into a small light weight space. These characteristics make it ideal for linear actuators, blowers, fans and other applications where cost and size are considerations. The 2000 series can be purchased as a 3/4 motor or integrated into your finished product right from the factory.

Designer Options
Mountings . . . End mounting can be provided by threaded casebolt extensions on either end. Expernal mounting brackets can be installed for fan and blower applications. Brackets are application specific.
External Construction . . . The 2000 series utilize stamped steel end frames that provide excellent service in the lightest weight available. End frames can be supplied in totally closed or vented form. The steel motor shell is carefully wrapped and welded to provide a superior magnet bonding surface. The 2000 series is finished with either epoxy paint or power coated in a classic black finish.
Bearings . . . Self-aligning sleeve bearings are standard. In an effort to provide a truely low cost motor solution, bearing availability is limited.
Shafts . . . The 2000 series standard 1144 CRS steel shafts are are available in single and double shaft extensions. Shaft extensions may be specified to model specific maximum lengths. Please contact Karrier Company for details or submit your motor specification on the form provided. "Tell Us What You Want." As an option, your motor can be equipped with a 416 stainless steel shaft. Shaft features include flats, key-ways, slots, and threads. To make your life easier, the motor can be equipped with a gear or pully right from the factory.
